Taoist Meditation & Qigong

In 2020 I’m delighted to present versatile, enjoyable practices from ancient Taoist wisdom for your harmony, resilience and self-empowerment. These ancient tools for internal alchemy are of great benefit in our modern lives, helping us to transform stress into vitality. As soon as we begin to learn them we can feel the effects, and as the years go past and we develop our practice, they become even more profound. I’m grateful to my teachers and for the opportunity to share these wonderful practices with you, so that you can integrate them into your daily life. Let’s enjoy life to the full!

Combining meditation, Qigong and other exercises, self-massage, Taoist philosophy and its practical application in our daily lives, the workshops are for adults of any age and gender, and are suitable whether you’re new to meditation or have been practising for years.

More information will be added soon. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions on 07944 872332 or email liz@surrey-shiatsu.co.uk. The workshops will be held in Surrey and the dates are:

My journey in the Tao: I first experienced Taoist meditation and practice in 2005 in preparation for my Shiatsu training with Kris North, learning the essentials of energy management and meditation on Step 1. Instantly feeling the benefit of the practices, I continued in Taoist training with Kris and with Anamarta Antunes. They received their training from Master Mantak Chia, who authorised them to teach and qualify Taoist Trainers. I attended and repeated Kris and Anamarta’s courses over the years while developing my career in Shiatsu, Chi Nei Tsang and massage. On committing to Step 5 in 2016 I felt what a great privilege it would be to share the Tao and began working towards that, deepening my own practice along the way. I completed Tai Chi teacher training in 2016 and Qigong teacher training in 2017, became a Jade Circle® Ambassador in 2018, and in 2019 qualified as a Taoist Trainer.
